VC Fund and Other Scholarships
In addition to the national Mahapola Scholarship and University Bursaries, the Student Welfare Services Branch coordinates extra financial aid, emergency relief, the VC Fund, and Other Scholarships. Specifically, we manage the Vice Chancellor’s Special Fund, which provides immediate financial support to internal undergraduate students facing sudden medical emergencies or unexpected family hardships. Furthermore, through the valuable support of our global diaspora, alumni associations, and memorial trust funds, various Other Scholarships are regularly offered to low-income, deserving, and differently-abled students. Students are requested to check this page frequently to download active application forms and submit them before the closing deadlines.
